Website and Marketing Essentials for Authors
We all know we need a website as part of our author brand, but how do you make sure your efforts are actually effective for marketing? What are readers, bloggers, and podcasters looking for on your website? Or what the heck do you even talk about if you don't quite have your book out yet? Come meet with other Christian writers at Idahope for a website workshop. Whether you're just starting out as an author, or you have a long publication history, your website is an important part of the journey.
The workshop will be led by Jared and Rachelle Nelson, the owners of Fierce Island Creative, see fierceisland.com, a local web agency in Boise. Jared has been involved in enterprise-level web design for over eight years. Rachelle is a traditionally published fantasy author, and she has learned a trick or two about marketing along the way, applying techniques she uses for their web agency clients. Jared and Rachelle are excited to share their experience and to hear yours.

We meet monthly, on the second Tuesday, at the The Creative Space.
What typically happens when we gather? We typically have a speaker who shares about the craft or the writing journey. We also have a time for networking and sharing genres, goals, and prayer requests.
This event is free for members, and we welcome you to visit us twice if you are not a member. If you decide to continue, we ask that you become a member or pay a drop in fee of $8.
